Coming up With a Container Gardening Design: Make it
Easy
The process of coming up with a container gardening design
really does not have to be all that difficult, as long as you
take the process seriously and understand the basics here.
After all, there are a few general guidelines that you will
need to keep in mind when trying to come up with a container
gardening design, to ensure that you will have the most success
with it.
Sunlight
One of the most important aspects to take into consideration
when it comes to a container gardening design is sunlight. You
need to make sure that all the plants in your container
gardening design are going to be receiving adequate sunlight,
through all seasons.
Sunlight is necessary for plants to strive, but keep in mind
that certain plants are going to be able to tolerate more shade
than others.
Fertilizer
Fertilizer is important, to provide the plants with the
nutrients that they need to strive. There are various different
fertilizer and compost products on the market today that you
can use here, but did you know that you can even make your own
right at home?
A quick and easy recipe for fertilizer is to mix 2 cups
water, 1 cup beer, 1 cup Epsom salts, and 1 cup ammonia.
Combine all of these ingredients in a medium-sized container,
and then you want to pour this mixture into a watering can with
a spray head.
Spray this all over the plants, making sure to not overdo it
because you do not want to drown them. Alternate this with this
regular watering, and your plants should grow up to be very
strong and healthy.
Pest Control
If you want some advice or tips to help you get started, try
browsing through a container gardening magazine. This way you
will be able to literally see different gardeners and the
designs they have chosen, and find it much easier to understand
which is going to work best for you.
For the best container gardening design, keep all of this
advice in mind, and remember that rushing into something like
that is never going to turn out right.
Container gardening can be a lot of fun, but if you want to
come out of it all with the best possible results, you are
going to want to make yourself educated and learn about the
different tips and techniques, before starting your own
container garden.
